Keynote speaker COL (Ret) John Holcomb, MD of the University of Alabama at Birmingham will be joined by speakers from USU, the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress (CSTS), the Joint Trauma System, AMEDD C&S, and Naval Postgraduate School. This event will bring together leading experts to explore the current state of pediatric combat casualty research, introduce novel pediatric-specific clinical practice guidelines, and discuss strategies to enhance pediatric wartime care while mitigating moral injury for military providers treating pediatric casualties.
